Gone But Not Forgotten.

It's always good to hear from your customer's postive experiences.  What follows is a letter our Vice President of Operations, Robert Carpenter, received from a customer at Muir Parkway Office Center in Martinez.

 Hi Robert,
Let me say that Cranbrook has been a wonderful landlord for the 15 straight years that we leased office space at Muir Parkway Offices.  The team that you have put together to run the day-to-day operations were always very responsive and positive no matter what the issue was or how they might have perceived the urgency.  If we needed anything, from someone to look at the HVAC or fix a broken light, all it took was a simple phone call or short email and the next thing I knew it was being handled.  Linda Shoemaker-Haskins and Kelly Arrigan never failed to follow up on whatever they said they would handle.
We renewed our lease twice from the first 5-year lease that we signed, and on each occasion I found that the negotiations were always approached on a fair win-win basis for us and for Cranbrook. We recently went through another set of negotiations, which included shrinking our footprint a small amount since we had cut back on staff headcount in the past year.  Even these negotiations were handled professionally and quickly, and they made us an offer that should have kept us in the space under different economic circumstances.  They made us a very creative offer that I was happy to sign.  The only reason that we did not complete the lease is that our parent company decided at the last minute to move our operations out of state to Seattle, WA.
I wish you and Cranbrook the best of luck going forward.  Give my regards your team.

Regards,
Tom Olsen
